Introducing Lydia Johnson
Let's warmly welcome Lydia Johnson and celebrate her Cups & Quilts collection! Lydia is a ceramicist and can now proudly add textile and quilt design to her list of achievements. Her beautifully designed ceramic prints inspired by her love of patchwork and quilts immediately caught our attention and we knew that they would make stunning textile prints.
We had a great time styling Lydia's ceramics with the projects we made, like the Noodlehead Buckthorne Backpack (below left) and the Make it Scrappy Quilt by Busy Hands Quilts (below right and in the background).
We love how the Cups & Quilts prints look when paired with white fabrics in the background and are excited to share some of our favorite ideas with you. Below are the Encompass Quilt by Bound to Be Quilting, the Violet Quilt from Kitchen Table Quilting, the Grace Quilt by The Tipsy Needle, and Lydia's Lovely Plaid quilt that we will offer as a free pattern when the collection ships to shops this fall.

The Cups & Quilts collection is one of the seven new collections we just announced for spring. It features 25 pieces and all of your favorite pre-cuts: 5" and 10" squares, 2-1/2" strips, and a beautiful fat quarter bundle with one of each print.
